The private sector holiday for Eid Al Fitr spans from Ramadan 29, observed on Monday, April 8, until 3 Shawaal, corresponding to Friday, April 12.
This grants a nine-day break for individuals with typical Saturday and Sunday off days. Work is scheduled to resume on Monday, April 15.
In tandem with the private sector, the UAE cabinet had previously announced a one-week Eid Al Fitr holiday for the federal government from Monday, April 8, 2024, until April 14.
This period coincides with the public sector’s observance of the festive occasion, with operations set to resume on Monday, April 15.
