Dahua Technology Middle East Announces Strategic Joint Venture with Alat

Dahua Technology Middle East, a leading provider of video-centric AIoT solutions, has unveiled an exciting strategic collaboration with Saudi Arabia tech firm Alat. 

This joint venture celebrates a significant milestone for Dahua, which is expanding its presence in the region following the inauguration of a cutting-edge office and experience center in Dubai earlier this year.

Driving Innovation in Saudi Arabia:

The collaboration between Dahua Technology and Alat is a testament to Dahua’s commitment to manufacturing AIoT products tailored for intelligent cities and enterprises in Saudi Arabia. 

The partnership focuses on supporting the kingdom’s ambitious plans for economic diversification and the development of smart cities, aiming to contribute to a safer and brighter future in Saudi Arabia.

Dahua’s Saudi Arabia subsidiary will maintain independence, ensuring seamless service delivery to clients. Establishing the joint venture will enhance manufacturing capabilities in the region while preserving daily operations and branding strategies.

Expansion Plans and Product Focus:

Initially, the joint venture will concentrate on manufacturing CCTV project-based products, with plans to expand into distribution and other categories. 

Despite ongoing negotiations regarding brand usage, Dahua remains committed to prioritizing its brand presence in the Saudi Arabian market.

Enhanced Access to AIoT Solutions:

Clients across the region, including existing ones in Dubai and the rest of the UAE, can anticipate enhanced access to cutting-edge AIoT solutions tailored to their specific requirements. 

The joint venture’s manufacturing facility will streamline local supply chains, accelerating product delivery for projects in Saudi Arabia, neighboring GCC countries, and the wider region.

Investment and Technology Enablement:

Dahua Mena and Alat, a recently formed PIF company, will contribute to technology enablement, testing labs, and demo centers. 

The joint venture will invest $200 million (Dh734 million) to drive innovation and reach ambitious targets in safety and surveillance solutions for Intelligent Cities, Buildings, and Enterprise Applications.
