Anantara Announces Opening of Eighth Resort in the UAE

Anantara, part of Minor Hotels, will open its eighth resort in the UAE, located in Sharjah, by 2027. 

This expansion is a significant addition to Anantara’s portfolio of over 540 hotels worldwide, bringing a stunning resort and residence to the emirate.

Location and Development: 

The new resort, owned and developed by Arada, will be on the picturesque Al Heerah Beach in Sharjah. Featuring striking architecture, including a specially designed gateway highlighting the sun’s direction, the property aims to offer a unique and luxurious experience.

The resort will comprise 110 guest rooms, suites, and penthouses on higher levels offering expansive views. 

Additionally, 128 residential units, ranging from one to four bedrooms, each with private balconies, will be for sale. Four-bedroom units will boast exclusive access to rooftop pools.

Recreation and Facilities: 

Guests can indulge in various Anantara experiences, including rejuvenation at the Anantara Spa and fitness activities at the gym. 

The property will also feature five distinctive restaurants, including poolside dining, alfresco beachfront dining, and the renowned Mekong restaurant, which offers pan-Asian fusion cuisine. Meeting spaces and outdoor venues for social gatherings will also be available.
