Enhancing Dubai Green Spaces: 30 New Parks Planned

Dubai, often recognized as a cosmopolitan city amidst the desert, is set to enrich its landscape further with an additional 30 parks. This ambitious project, announced by Dubai Municipality, aims to augment the city’s green spaces, offering residents and visitors more opportunities to connect with nature and enjoy recreational activities.

Green Corridors and Sustainable Mobility: 

The upcoming parks will serve as green corridors, connecting residential areas, workplaces, and service areas. 

This initiative aligns with the plan to promote sustainable mobility, encouraging pedestrianism, cycling, and other eco-friendly modes of transportation to make the city more livable and sustainable.

Varied Amenities for Community Needs: 

The new parks will cater to the community’s various needs, offering amenities such as children’s playgrounds, cricket grounds, basketball courts, jogging tracks, and more. 

Each park will be designed to reflect the specific preferences and demographics of its surrounding area.

Modern Designs for Enhanced Experience: 

Dubai Municipality aims to introduce a new generation of parks with modern and elegant designs. 

Drawing inspiration from recent projects in Al Nahda, Qusais, and Al Warqa, these parks will feature innovative layouts and enhanced play areas to provide an enriching experience for visitors of all ages.

Tailored Approach to Park Design: 

With a focus on community engagement and needs assessment, each park will be uniquely designed to cater to the preferences of its residents. 

Whether it’s cricket grounds for sports enthusiasts or basketball courts for recreational players, the aim is to create areas that resonate with the local community.
